1 Megawatt Microwave Generator | GET-MAX

The GET-MAX 1 Megawatt Microwave Generator is a combined unit of 915MHz generators working as one system, for outdoor industrial processing. By combining several microwave power units into one, the GET-MAX serves as a cost-efficient generator solution. All units are modular, custom-built for each process, application, or environment.

1 Megawatt Microwave Generator: GET-MAX Overview

The 1 Megawatt Microwave Generator GET-MAX system integrates multiple power supplies with system controls into one package. It is best suited for large-scale, outdoor industrial applications requiring high microwave power levels.

1 Megawatt Microwave Generator

The GET-MAX system equipment consists of:

  • Microwave circulator assemblies (10 x 100 kW)
  • Water-cooled microwave generators (10 x 100 kW)
  • WR-975 waveguide flange connections (10 x 100 kW)

  • Allen Bradley Ethernet-based control hardware
  • Allen Bradley Panelview Plus operator interface
  • Control signal outputs and inputs via weatherproof connection panel
  • Internal plumbing such that a single water supply and return are required for the container

  • Container air conditioner
  • Software for controlling the generator system
  • Instruction and service manuals: schematic diagrams and installation instructions

GET-MAX Control System

The control system shall carry out all functions for safe and optimum operation of the microwave generators and associated equipment autonomously. It shall incorporate any features required for test and maintenance.

In addition, the control system shall:

  • Provide for remote start-up and shut-down of the system
  • Provide for remote emergency stop and power isolation
  • Accept a power demand signal from a remote controller
  • Arc quench command
  • As a minimum, the system shall report to the remote controller:
    • System status (monitor system health and parameters trends)
    • Actual output power for each generator
    • Reflected power for each generator
    • System shall allow the output of each generator to be varied between 20% and 100% rated power
